Fall Mums and Olive Buckets

A couple of days ago I was out shopping and came across these gorgeous mums in galvanized olive buckets at.............Walmart?!?!  Hard to believe, right?  And they were only 15 bucks!  I was so excited I almost ran my cart into a display of candles.  Yikes.

I wanted to let you all know about them.  I shared them on instagram and a few people said they weren't at their local Walmart.  We have a supercenter so maybe they are only available at those?  Anyway, can't hurt to check and maybe ask their gardening department if they can get them.

And this isn't a paid advertisement, I just love to share a good deal.

Honestly, I can't wait for the mums to be past their prime so I can use the adorable buckets.  My hubby surprised me with a second one so I will be using some outside as well.

Have a great day everyone!!

    1. Hi Judy! I did make the umbrella art. I just pieced together 1 x 2's and braced with a beam in the back. Then I painted each one alternating with white and burnt umber craft paint. I free handed the umbrella, which isn't too difficult if you take your time. :) I will try to do a tutorial on it soon! ;)

  2. I am so loving all of your fall decor!! Where did you get the wooden letters to spell "fall?" Are they they part of a set you have in the wire basket on the floor? I would love to do the same so they can double as "learning toys" for my little one! Also where do you find all of your great baskets? A girl can never have too many? Thanks :)

  4. Loving all of your fall decor! Where did you get the wooden letters used to spell "fall?" Are they the same ones in the wire basket next to it on the floor? I would love to do that same and have the letters double as a "learning toy" for my little one :) Also, where do you get all of your cool baskets? A girl can never have too many ;-)

  9. Love the basket! Yes, it would be a favorite and would be used often in different places in my home. I am still looking for vintage suitcases like this. Great display of goods.

  11. Finally worked out that the 'mums' were the flowers in the bucket. Guessing they are chrysanthemums - never heard them called that before. Beautiful collection btw.

  12. Your house looks great & the mums add a great Fall touch. I LOVE all the texture you have going on in your home! I was in my local Walmart today & they had the mums in the olive buckets - I picked up two and plan to plant them in my pots on the porch so I can use those buckets for toy storage! They will be perfect for blocks and hot wheels :).
