Vintage Home Designs

Happy Saturday!  Hope you are all enjoying a fantastic weekend.  I wanted to let everyone know that I opened an Etsy shop called Vintage Home Designs.  The first item/items up for sale are my mini bread boards.  You can visit my shop by clicking on the Etsy Shop tab above.
I just love them and really enjoy using them and hope someone else will, too!  I will be selling them in sets of four.  I have 5 sets for sale right now, but if you would like to special order more, just contact me.
I had so much fun taking these photos in our backyard.  I used an old barn door for the tabletop.  I love the contrast between the barn door and the white dishes and bread board.  So pretty.
I think these are also fun for crusty Italian bread and herb butters or dipping oil.
I will add more to my shop in the future.  Gotta start out slow.  :)  I would love any suggestions!  Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

  2. I love those mini bread boards! I just recently found your blog and have been going thru the archives. Your home is so gorgeous! I love the way you decorate and use old items around your home. The ledge that you built is great! Do you have a tutorial on how to make it?

  6. You should put some of these blog photos in your Etsy listing! They're too beautiful not to use, and speaking from experience (I have an etsy shop too) the prettier the pics are, the faster you'll sell stuff, especially those lovely, lovely breadboards ♥
You displayed them so perfectly in your blog pics, and I was just a tiny bit sad to not see the same pics in your Etsy listing (and since you asked for suggestions....)

I'm so happy to have discovered your blog...we're getting ready to move, and I can't wait to try your beadboard backsplash in my next kitchen.

Best of luck to you with your Etsy store!

  7. Hi Maya, thanks for the advice! I actually did want to put them up on my Etsy shop but I wasn't sure if I could have more than 5 pics or however many they give you. I'm going to try to add them! Thanks so much, I appreciate the advice!

  8. I tell you what... I feel like a proud Mama. Which is ridiculous considering that 1) I'm not your mama and 2) I had nothing to do with you putting those boards on Etsy- only that I have loved them from the first second you posted on them, and I am so EXCITED for you starting a little side business. You are going to just expand and your creativity will probably just flow over right onto that little Etsy store!! You are a doll and I wish you tons of success. :)

  12. Hello from Australia! I followed a link from The inspired room and then I got carried away and read your posts way past my bedtime:) I really like your blog and will try again later to sign up to follow you. (I tried earlier but there was a problem with it). I am very new to blogging and hope that in a few years my blog will be as lovely as yours!
